Melanin In Motion – Community Service Co-Chair 

She led the planning and coordination of community service events focused on empowerment and outreach. She collaborated with executive board members to ensure service projects aligned with the organization’s mission and values. She also managed event logistics, volunteer sign-ups, and post-event reflections to maximize participation and impact.

Public Relations Student Society of America – BEDI Committee

She supported initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and the public relations field. She worked with committee members to develop campaigns and events that encouraged belonging and cultural awareness. She also assisted in creating communication materials and social media content that highlighted inclusive storytelling and representation.

Xtension – Peer Leader


She helped first-year students transition into college life by fostering a welcoming and supportive community. She organized events and discussions to encourage connection among Black students across campus. She also served as a peer mentor, offering guidance and resources to help freshmen navigate both academic and social life at UGA.

Books for Africa 

She worked as a packer for Books for Africa in Marietta, Georgia, where she assisted in sorting, packaging, and labeling books for shipment to schools and libraries across Africa. She collaborated with team members to organize donated materials by subject and reading level, ensuring everything was prepared for distribution. Through this work, she supported the organization’s mission to promote literacy and improve educational access in underserved communities.
